I have found that "the best seller of a car is the one who doesn't really need to sell and the best buyer is one who doesn't really need to buy" .
I am writing out of my own experience about a car I drove in Raleigh NC for a year and 16000 miles and selling it at the price I bought . I learned this through the technique used by a guy who was trying to buy it .
He used to call up every week asking me if i had sold it and if i was willing to come down on the price . this he did for 5 weeks .Thats when i decided to pick up his method of buying and
apply to my selling .
It worked .
Note : I am not a professional salesman . these are just my thoughts .
